This is a short update with details of Easter opening and closing arrangements at the Fairer World shop and a quick stock update. Next month there will be a full Fairer World update accompanied by a new Food Products price list and a new Short-dated Foods & Old Stock Cleaning Products price list.
Fairer World Shop Easter Opening and Closing Times

Fairer World usual opening times are 11.00am to 5.00pm Mon to Sat inclusive.
We are sometimes open outside the usual opening times also.
Stock Update
Easter chocolate
Fairer World has boxed milk chocolate Real Easter eggs in stock, but only one dark chocolate one. After selling out originally, we have managed to obtain some more Special Edition large milk chocolate Real Easter eggs and have some in stock. The Fun Pack containing the 20g midi milk choc eggs is sold out, however.
Fairer World has Divine flat Easter eggs in stock – milk chocolate caramel & crunch and also dark chocolate raspberry flavour.
Divine milk chocolate speckled mini eggs are in stock at Fairer World, as are Divine vegan foil wrapped dark choc mini eggs.
Fairer World has Cocoa Loco mini eggs in stock – milk choc, orange milk choc and white + raspberry choc. These are all certified Organic and Fairtrade – and quite expensive.
Fairer World has a couple of packets of Tony’s foil wrapped milk chocolate mini eggs left in stock.
As well as the above there is a big range of fair trade chocolate bars, including the Meaningful Chocolate Company milk chocolate bar with an Easter wrapper.
Palestine products
Fairer World has the full range of olive oil available: 250ml, 500ml, 750ml in bottles, and 1 litre size and 5 litre size in cans. 250ml bottles are lowest in stock at Fairer World as they are out-of-stock at Zaytoun’s warehouse.
We have good stocks of Medjoul dates in 250g size but only a few 500g size packets left as these are out-of-stock at Zaytoun’s warehouse.
Maftoul is now back in stock at Fairer World, after having been unobtainable for an extended period.
Raw almonds, freekeh and za’atar – in the 80g jar size – are also all in stock at Fairer World.
We have recipe cards for the above Palestinian products, no charge, and a number of Palestinian cook books for sale.
Zaytoun caramelised, chilli and smoked almonds are out-of-stock. These are seasonal products and we are told they will be available in September.
Zaytoun soap from a family manufacturer in Nablus is in stock at Fairer World – in honey, lemon, pure, rose and sage varieties, plus Dead Sea bath salts.
Fairer World has some olive wood crafts in stock, and some embroidery and kufiyas, but has sold many other craft items as customers show their solidarity. We are finding these difficult to replace but are working on it.
Cafedirect
Cafedirect’s size of ground coffee and coffee beans is changing from 227g packets to 200g packets. Fairer World has reduced the price of the 200g size packets accordingly. This change is taking place as new stock works its way through the range.
More Socks
We have a big delivery of Thought socks lined up – mainly bamboo mix but also some organic cotton ones, in both the sizes we stock at Fairer World: size 4-7 and size 7-11. These have been ordered and paid for, and dispatch from the warehouse confirmed, so we expect them to arrive any day now. We are maintaining the selling price for our socks at £5.40 at the moment, but, because the price we are paying for them is rising, we may need to increase our sock prices later in 2024.
