World Fair Trade Day – 11 May

World Fair Trade Day is celebrated on and around the second Saturday of May all over the world. Fairer World always tries to mark the occasion, but we haven’t decided how to do so this year. E.g. in the past we’ve had Eswatini or Palestinian product tasting & served Ugandan coffee to mark the climate warming threat to the coffee farmers on Mount Elgon, Uganda. Suggestions welcome.

Please look out for more information nearer the time. Continue reading
